Caught on a never-ending merry-go-round of memory, thoughts of the present and future lost their handhold.
The idea of clothes being anything more than a utilitarian object, like a screwdriver or a watch, had never occurred to me until seventh grade when my father's old Army jacket I'd worn for years was suddenly in vogue.
I'm an artist and writer. I've published two non-fiction books,"Gilded Age Murder & Mayhem in the Berkshires," (2015) and "Hudson Valley Murder & Mayhem" (2017). I'm currently working on my third book, which is about Edgar Allan Poe and the crimes that inspired his work, due out in 2020 . I'm the co-founder of Fellow Well Met, an online shop specializing in vintage, handcrafted & fine men’s accessories, which launched in April 2016. Andrew Amelinckx
