A blog in honor of Ernest Hemingway's continual search for the perfect sentence. Now in a new and improved haiku format!
Don't look back but towards
the horizon and watch a
new day dawn brightly
Light fades quickly and
gives way to the darkness that
lingers so so long
In the stone garden
thick ice covers every
surface — obstinant
Slippery as a
salamander they'll let him
wiggle free again
Virginal snow lays
atop the dead earth until
the sun renews life
A return to dull
days without tinsel and song
brings its own delight
Merry and bright are
the moments between utter
chaos and your fears
