We passed the bottle 

sitting on the grave talking

about life and dreams 

I heard a slight voice 

crying out above the din

Unfettered by the 

bounds of society, they

toss the chum to sharks 

From my back porch I 

heard the bald eagles across

the creek and was pleased

world that sucks away every 

last minute (tick, tock).
